7-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you'll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your comfortable hotel in Nairobi. This well-appointed property provides a pleasant place to rest after your international journey and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Journey to Loisaba Conservancy

You'll be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Loisaba Conservancy. The scenic flight offers breathtaking aerial views of the Great Rift Valley and Mount Kenya. Upon landing at Loisaba's airstrip, you'll be met by our expert guide and transferred to the lodge. After settling in, you'll have time to explore the property before embarking on your first afternoon game drive in this extraordinary landscape. Return to the lodge for a welcome dinner and safari briefing where Emily will share insights about the coming days in Loisaba.

Days 3-6: Loisaba Conservancy Exploration

Four full days dedicated to exploring the diverse habitats and exceptional wildlife of Loisaba Conservancy. Each day we'll venture out on morning and afternoon game drives, searching for the conservancy's remarkable inhabitants including the elusive black leopard, endangered rhino, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, and wild dog, as well as your typical African wildlife. Our expert local guide will share invaluable knowledge about animal behavior and tracking techniques while positioning us for optimal wildlife viewing and photography opportunities.

Daily activities may include:

• Early morning game drives when predators are most active

• Afternoon excursions to different regions of the conservancy

• Photography instruction tailored to the changing light and wildlife scenarios

• Time to relax at the lodge enjoying the exceptional hospitality and amenities

• Wildlife observation according to conservancy guidelines

Day 7: Farewell to Loisaba

After a final morning activity and breakfast at the lodge, you'll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Most international departure flights are nighttime, so you'll have a day room in Nairobi to rest before your flight home. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, you'll be met and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This expedition requires an easy to moderate fitness level. Participants should be comfortable with:

• Early morning departures for optimal wildlife viewing

• Extended periods in safari vehicles (typically 3-4 hours per drive)

• Occasionally bumpy terrain during game drives

• Variable weather conditions

• No serious health conditions that could be compromised in a remote setting

EXPEDITION INVESTMENT & TERMS

• Dates: June 22-28, 2026

• Per Person Rate: Starting $12,000 per person based on double occupancy

• Group Size: Limited to 4 participants

• Single Supplement: Please speak with Emily directly to determine availability and cost

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

• Initial Deposit: $1,000 per person to secure your place

• Interim Payment: 40% of total expedition cost due 120 days prior to departure

• Final Payment: Remaining balance due 90 days prior to departure

RESERVATION POLICY

• Your place on the expedition is confirmed only upon receipt of deposit

• Payments accepted via credit card, bank transfer, check, or ACH

• No processing fee for payments made by check or ACH

• A detailed expedition preparation guide will be provided upon registration

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Deposit is non-refundable

• 180-91 days prior to departure: 50% of total expedition cost

• 90 days or less prior to departure: 100% of total expedition cost

• We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage

• Comprehensive travel insurance is required

• Documentation of appropriate coverage must be provided 90 days before departure
