Along Maui's volcanic coastline, ancient lava formations rise from swirling mists where ocean meets shore. These dark monoliths—shaped by countless waves over millennia—create a landscape that exists between states of being, neither fully revealed nor concealed by the fog that weaves between them. The boundary between solid rock and flowing vapor blurs, challenging our perception of what is permanent and what is fleeting. Time seems suspended as the mist shifts, occasionally revealing jagged peaks before shrouding them again in its ethereal embrace. This liminal space invites us to contemplate our own boundaries—what divides the known from the unknown, the defined from the mysterious. In witnessing this meeting of elements, we too find ourselves suspended between worlds, invited to discover what exists in the spaces between certainty.
